About
Hello and welcome to Pawsitive Boarding. My name is Debra and I will be your pet’s primary caretaker during his/her stay. I have owned and have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, chinchillas and other pocket pets. In addition to being a pet owner, I am also very involved with the local shelter volunteering my extra time to care for and provide expert advice to the bunny group. I often get asked by rabbit owners, “Do you know anyone that could take care of my bunny when I am away from home?”
Options for small pet boarding are pretty limited and finding someone who understands their care and can provide a safe stress free home away from home is incredibly difficult. Now there is an option–Pawsitive Boarding.
We are conveniently located in Ventura County, CA.
We do not take in a large number of boarders so we can focus on providing quality care. This means your pet has a large indoor enclosure with plenty of daily exercise and lots of one on one time. As pet owners know, rabbits, and other small pets have unique personalities, needs, likes and dislikes. It is important to address each one as an individual so your pet’s time away from home is as enjoyable as yours!

We can accommodate singles, pairs, trios, and special-needs rabbits.
Rabbits are housed in roomy 4’x4′ exercise pens.
Included in the boarding fee, we provide:
- exercise pen
- litterbox
- food dish/water bowl
- chew and toss toys
- hiding box and/or fun tunnel
- orchard or timothy hay
- pellets – Oxbow Adult Rabbit
- a daily salad of mixed greens
- daily exercise in a large rabbit-safe area
